The learning of a foreign language plays an important role in the fostering of a pupil’s personal, social, intellectual and cultural development. It leads to the acquisition of skills seen as important nationally, on the European level, and even on a world wide scale.
We aim to provide a worthwhile educational experience in Modern Languages for all pupils. As teachers of modern foreign languages, we feel that we play a very significant role in the moral and spiritual education of a pupil. It is very probably, in this respect, the most all-round subject a child will study at school. Our Modern Languages curriculum seeks to set high academic aspirations, reflect local and regional employment opportunities and broaden horizons.
