Train with The Port Alliance through the School Direct Programme.
The Port Alliance is a unique and diverse group of schools working together to train people to become outstanding teachers at primary or secondary level. Our cross-phase training offers opportunities to experience primary and secondary education, whilst specialising in your chosen age range.
We currently have 3 fee paying places remaining at primary level and 2 places left at secondary level in Maths and Computer Science/ICT, for the year 2015-16.
We work in partnership with the University of Chester, together we have a wealth of initial teacher training experience and offer a bespoke training opportunity, which will inspire you to become an outstanding teacher. Our community of schools offers supportive teacher training in a wide range of settings, providing an unrivalled and fully rounded experience of teaching.
We are currently recruiting for our fourth cohort of trainees. All of our first cohort were successfully employed at the end of their course, many within our alliance schools. We are training our current cohort and are confident that they will be as successful.
